[Rhodes22-list] Yamaha 9.9 water cooling

When I started  up my Yamaha HT9.9 this spring - there was a definite lack
of cooling water coming from the exit tube.  Before I delve into the water
pump, does anyone with a service manual know if the screw fitting in the
lower unit labeled "wash" is for pressure flushing the cooling system.  Its
right next to the lower unit gear lube level hole.  The owners manual
doesn't mention it any where.
