Stan
I just don't understand you thinking.  A tax that hurt
an industry cannot be a good thing.  And based on you
own writing, worsten tax collections on that industry.
 Therefore, no help to the economy.  

As for the Contract with America, there is just no
comparing the two & there were many benefits.
