Ed,

     I don't care one way or the other about the content of the list posts.  The statement that the list reflects the type of chatter you might hear in a bar says it all.

    I have the misfortune of having moved so far into the sticks, that I have trouble getting sunshine piped in, nevermind DSL or high speed access to the internet.  I just hate to have to wade through improperly labeled e-mails at the blazing speed of 28.8K.

    I usually just delete anything not sailing related. (and anything from small steve LOL)

P.S.  I took MJM's advice early on and got a junk e-mail address to reads the list posts and not kludge (sp?) up my family mailbox.
