[Rhodes22-list] Please tell me about your boat

You can find most of what you want at the owners site....
http://www.rhodes22.org/ Why don't you read through all the material there
and then see what questions you still have? I don't have IMF so I don't
"miss" having it... its convenient, but you do lose something at the same
time. I'm not sure you can install a boom vang on an IMF and the sail shape
is necessarily flat.

I do have a furled head sail (CDI) which for me is essential. My head sail
is a 135 genoa which I find quite adequate, but the Rhodes22 can carry up to
a 175. The head is another option to consider... I like to KISS so after my
portapotti broke, I decided to simply use a 5-gallon bucket with bags and a
toilet seat... no moving parts... nothing to pump out.

As you probably know by now, these boats were designed specifically for LIS.
It is an exceptionally hardy boat perfectly suited for that environment in a
small package with a shallow draught.

Good luck!

Saroj
