Bill.. just curious... how did you happen to get interested in this song or 
artist?

I'm finding it quite haunting and moving all at the same time... haunting 
'cause if you listen to the lyrics, it almost sounds as though he is really 
singing about New Orleans itself as the "ma ceri" who left him... do you 
when it was written?  been searching web sites to no avail...
