Why not ask West at their 800-BOATING line.  Would help if you can tell them exactly what you bought.  They may take it back.  BTW the rudder cleat is their model #1158443.  That really is an excellent insurance package that I have never used.  Thanks for another great idea.

I got some jib sheets from west marine this spring.It doesn't cleat as
well,or uncleat like Stan's. It is also harder on the hands,and is already
starting to fray.I paid a pretty handsome sum for it,and don't seem to be
getting my $ worth.I think I'll ask Santa for some Stan sheets.
