Attaching these photos for you to see.  The prototype was completed yesterday, with 4" pole length, as you suggested for storage and transport.  I am used to the rig, but it seems quite easy to set up for me.  Should not be a problem for the 'chicks', to quote our esteemed musical ambassador - who we have not heard from for some time.  

Keep us posted on your trip to E, my own postponed for a few weeks with a sick FIL in Texas.  

Best to you.  I envy your Seattle move.  When we lived in Portland a few years ago, they insisted it was God's country, confirmed with the tithe for state income tax.  Now in Washington you have all this, but with no income tax at all!  How about retirement sites, neighbors?  B T W Georgia is about to exempt the first $75,000 for senior retirees, too many have been lost to TN and FL...   Savannah bound...
