Dave,
      Before you go searching, get some information.  First, is it a new
motor?  If not, the kit may not have come with the boat/motor.  If it is a
new motor, sometime after 9 AM call Stan or Elton and ask where it is.  Stan
has a motor room (aka, closet) where he keeps motors and motor accessories,
it may still be in Edenton.  Remember the book is in English, not Spanish...
if they did not double check the battery, why would they put an English
language book in the boat.  Keep in mind that Stan has been sick and Elton
has been ruining axles.
      You should have listened to Mr. Rummy and gotten a manual 8 hp
Tohotso, it comes with a easy to use pull cord attached and ready to go.  No
battery problems.  Of course such a motor is not so high tech... just
reliable... may a lesson for other newbies.
