Todd,

In '74 was there an access plate for the centerboard pivot pin?  In my '81
(technically a RC22), the centerboard is accessed from above through the
centerboard trunk.  One needs to remove the cover and the centerboard with
pivot pin lifts straight up into the cabin area.  You are correct in that
the centerboard and the rudder seem to be nearly identical in shape, as I
recall.
