Wally,

Which GPS are you using?

As I've described previously, I only have a GPS because I got it free.  
I'm a no-instruments guy.  I was stunned at how often I use the GPS, and 
always turn it on, first thing, when I set up my boat to sail.  It has 
many uses beyond the obvious.
