Ed,
  I still defer to Slim who posted those great diagrams of the 
stringers and cabin floor layout last year.  It helped me immensely 
and  there are plywood stringers on my boat.
  I am in the process of  installing a new Stb stringer and the Galley 
floor stringer which has to have a support attached to it for the stb 
side of the floor board.  I am hoping to have to only replace these 
two this year so I can begin the rewiring during the colder months.
