Bill, you might want to think about a locking toolbox large enough for your
motor, which you could leave in the back of the truck, with the rest open to
dump the dinghy in.  Then you could go for a canvas cover for longer trips.

Peter, how's Chapel Hill these days?  I moved from there to CT in 2000.  We
had some nice years there.  Do you drive down to the coast for sailing?
