Mark, West marine has pre cut ones for sale
http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&productId=145886

I did not stain the tiller at all. I did give it rinse down with some
bleach and water to kill any growth that might be started in the grain.
Don't use much bleach as it will whiten the wood. Rinse wood with water
after it dires and then let it dry, really good before putting on the poly.
Bob
