[Rhodes22-list] Sailing Technique Question

Mark, I just endured 4 hours of sailing up wind in the same conditions to 
get to the fireworks show last week.  Yes have the main stall (more eased 
than the jib) well before the head sail.  Thsi will reduce the heeling 
motion some and as a extra benefit will reduce the weather helm.  When the 
gust hits head into the wind a bit to luff some of the head sail.  On 
differnt boats skippers will have a crew release the traveller in response 
to gust.  I have not found the set up of the Rhodes to make this convient.
