Robert, Thanks, I think you're right. Stan reports our hull is OK for NYC winters, if we keep the bilge dry. I'd expect The Bay to be warmer than NYC, and perhaps more brackish - don't know. Saroj reported it worked from perhaps 120 mi further south. So wintering in the water might work. No one's posted back that it's a bad idea. Dave
