Bill,

If you are seriously interested in working on setting up a Rhodes 22 class,
I would be pleased to work on it with you.  I think we could review the
Catalina 22 stuff and modify it as needed to suit the unique and independent
nature of R22 sailors.  The real test will be if owners actually decide to
join and pay dues.

We could focus on cruising, racing and maintaining the value of all Rhodes
22 sailboats.  Unlike other classes, I would prefer to have General Boats
remain the exclusive vendor and/or broker of all used boats, as well as new
and recycled.

Your racing ideas are a little unconventional, but interesting.  However, I
really don't think you would want me to sail your boat in a race.  I could
be wrong,  but I've been known to take sterns pretty close  :-)
