       When you post to the list once a year and sound like a buzz saw
authority, well, unlike Bill and Rummy it is helpful to establish your
bonafides.

        Others have made reference to communications with him.  But, alas,
he has decided to go his own way.  Shortly after leaving the list and
getting the new job, he had meeting with another former list member who
indicated that there were many reasons for his actions.
        Feel free to try to contact him and report back, since he no longer
recognizes us collectively.
        It also sounds like you should communicate with those discussing
racing the Rhodes 22 or Rhodes Continental.  Have you ever raced the Captain
