Back from two weeks sailing in the Sea of Cortez (not with the Rhodes this
time),

Regarding the Record of picking up a boat "unseen":  I saw some pictures,
had a narrow window and had a surveyor friend look at the boat in Baltimore.
I then flew out, bought the boat, bought a 1996 F150, got a real trailer
from Stan (a new Triad single axel) and some other goodies and took it all
home to Oregon, 3,300 miles, no problem.  On second thought I only went one
way! so perhaps Md to Oak To Md (or was it the other way around?) is a
record!
