Ed,

I have not.  The point of my email was to highlight that another Rhoadie brought up many months ago - will a book specifically addressed to the R22 story be feasible?  If so, Cindy or whoever would pull such a project together might begin the process while Stan can participate also.  That makes sense to me.  BTW, Mary Lou would no doubt be a major plus contributor, I am sure happily so.

Cleats, rails, whatever.  The major stress would be carried by the crutch, so you don't picture what I have in mind.  The side pull/stress would be minimal, so the rail would be more than adequate, especially as I would probably be using something more secure than tied lines.

Sometime when the mood strikes look up the word interloping in Webster's.  You don't have a way with words.
