     Micheal is most knowledgeable on this subject.  Politics prevented
connecting JFK to the train or subway systems.  
     Look at the map.  JFK, New York City and the north shore are a
triangle, and you are wanting to go the least traveled leg of that triangle
for users of JFK.  Michaels recommendation will get you a driver (if he
speaks English) who might have a good idea which roads work best at the time
of your arrival.  Time of day of your arrival will affect which roads will
work best.  If you arrive so that you hit rush hour the wrong way you might
want to consider helicopter or commuter airline.
