[Rhodes22-list] Stiff mainsail furler

Elle,

The Boeshield is very popular with the cycling crowd. As I understand,
it's slicker than snot and dries to something like a parrafin wax --
meaning it doesn't get tacky and pick up dirt. I've always used a
teflon lubricant on my bicycle chain, but I'm convinced enough to try to
Boeshield next time I run out.

How does performance on the moving part of a bicycle translate to our
mainsail furler? I'm not sure, but certainly the bicycle chains and
rings take a lot more abuse and get subjected to a lot more dirt.
