Rob,

When I built up my trailer a year ago, I bought a used power boat dual axel trailer that had guide poles at the back of the trailer on each side. They were set at appox 8 feet apart and covered with 2 inch pvc pipe. I left the on and they provide the perfect guide for launching and loading Ad Astra. This way I do not have to worry if I go too deep on a ramp. Ad Astra lines up everytime and the stern does not move. This has alsomed it easier to launch by my self. She doesn't move on the trailer until I pull her back. Just a thought for you.
