[Rhodes22-list] Fenders, Dave and Elton's phone call

Dave, We're headed to Edenton on 4-18 to see our new boat and deliver some
electronics to Stan for installation. I'll ask him what they do because
they will be delivering the boat and new double axle trailer to NH in May.
Surely they have tremendous experience over the years delivering many boats
and traveling to boat shows etc. I had a new West Wight Potter 15 delivered
from the West coast to NH in 2004. It arrived in shrink wrap sitting on its
trailer...and was in perfect condition.

Art, you are very thoughtful. Thanks. Some kind of covering for the hull
makes a lot of sense. I've gotten some quotes from haulers and the best bet
is to have them load the boat on its trailer onto a flat bed truck (or
perhaps a car mover). But even still, covering the hull somehow sounds like
a winner. Won't be til late July so some time to think about it. I suppose
I could have the boat shrink wrapped by a local marina once it's on the
trailer.
