I use a heavy weight formating program that goes beyond the format program
provided by MS.  I use Killdisk:  http://www.killdisk.com/

The regular formating program is alleged to leave data capable of corrupting
the new install or data that could still be read by hackers.  This program
resets all data points to + or - insuring a clean install.
However, using this program assumes a degree of computer skill, so if you
know nothing, do not use it.

Phill, you could get the pay for version with the special defence department
swipes.  The guy from the VA should have used that version.

P. S:  Captain Rummy, you should have been there Saturday.  Lots of wind,
easy to put siderails to the water.  It came and went, so you would have had
time to refill between burst.
