Brad,

Elle, please correct me if I am wrong, but I think the issue is that the
controls interfere with Stan's Better Motor Lift.  Most Big boats don't
raise the motor up and down, they just tilt when on the trailer.

Elle, you may have to go with a standard motor lift which swings the motor
away from the boat in the lowered position.
