Elle:

You are getting comments from your dealer and others on this forum that
indicate they do not know what they are doing. Clam down and wait for Stan
to evaluate the situation. Just for the record, he usually does his
evaluation in the plant between 3 and 4 AM. Then he goes back to sleep.
Later in the morning he will wonder back into the plant to try a few things.
This process may go on a few days. He may have Ditto fabricate a few
things. Remember, Stan devised the motor mount, the IMF, and all sorts of
neat devices.

After he has evaluated the problem and tried a few things he will
report back to you. It may be good news or otherwise. Stan and Elton are
fully aware of past motor control devices and the Power Tiller Web Site.

If Stan is unable to come up with a solution, go back and read all the
post on sculling. That will be a unique challege on a wheel boat. Keep in
mind that sailboats have sailed around the world without a motor.
