[Rhodes22-list] Question - Fish Smell

Help me out here boys and girls. We stopped a fishmarket leaving Gulfport
Sunday and bought 15 pounds of the biggest shrimp I've ever seen. Our
cooler would only hold five pounds so the store owner packed the rest in
plastic bags with ice. One of the bags must have broken and leaked shrimp
water in the trunk. I pulled out the trunk liner and carpet, pressure
washed it, and let them dry in the sun. The smell still permeated the pax
cabin. Then I poured two pounds of scented baking soda in the spare tire
compartment and left it for 36 hours. The car smelled like flowers for a
day and then like shrimp wearing perfume. That has since been vacuumed
out. I've been leaving the trunk and windows open overnight but it doesn't
seem to make much difference.

Does anyone have a sure-fire method of fumigating a car? I'm getting a bit
weary of driving a car that smells like the shit-house door on a tuna boat.

Brad
