[Rhodes22-list] Roger

You know what I miss about having Roger on the list? He could engineer
a solution to anything, and was willing to train those who could
understand, few though they were. You know that question about how to
empty the holding tank when the lake has no pump out? He would have had
explanations and diagrams for some machine that would spin, filter, and
chemically alter the sewage, rendering a safe, fresh water fish food
that could be pumped overboard. None of us would understand how to
build it, but we wouldn't doubt that it could be done either.

I have noticed that each of his emails were worked over by the SPAM bouncer, big brute - over 400#, but after I put him on my address list were not supposed to be 'screened' and held. His pictures were excellent and helped very much. He is certainly not an IMF fan - as an engineer, I'm sure a sailing purist like my wife's dad.
