I briefly saw Rodger and have some information for you.

You said, "No cunningham, but there is a traveler between the split 
backstay.  I'm gradually coming to the conclusion that's all I can do 
on this rig.  Still investigating the possibility of retro-fitting a 
sliding gooseneck and then adding a downhaul.

He said this is probably possible.
