i'd put an ad up on your local craigslist. sometimes people just get tired of trying to sell their boat or don't want the hassle of dealing with lowballers etc. but they will respond to an ad. also let your local yard or marina know youre looking. they may know of someone who has a boat in their backyard but don't sail anymore. don't be in a rush. it will come to you. good luck. john b

How much experience do you have on project boats. Also there was a minister
selling a R22 near Columbia, SC that was in sail away condition and within
your price range. You might check our archives and see if he still has it.

Also you might post more particulars about yourself, kind of let everyone
know what kind of animal would live in Buffalo, New York. Gee, in a few
weeks, you could have a foot of snow.
