[Rhodes22-list] Minnesota Disaster

Rik,

Nope! You are correct. Fan accidentally hit the panic button on the alarm
system a few nights ago and within two minutes we had three of
Collierville's finest at our front door, insisting that something MUST be
wrong. Boredom had nothing to do with it! When I had my engine fire, about
exactly two years ago right in front of the passenger terminal in Newark,
two guys from Homeland Security met me at the bottom of the stairs. After a
couple of minutes with Sgt. Joe Friday and his sidekick, I realized just how
big a mistake it was to entertain them. I seriously thought about saying,
"a guy with a towel on his head ran out to the airplane, chunked a rock
into #1, and the next thing you know, KABLOOM!".

My youngest son, the "Coastie" (US Coast Guard) falls under Homeland
Security. For those of you who love big government, be happy. Your wish
has come true!

I'm leaving for the hangar to work on the Bo and satisfy the FAA. It never
ends.
