I think GW is miss named, it should be called, global discooling, take
Greenland for example, want to bet it was warmer when it was named, And when
I was traveling I always noticed the ancient port ruins where always 20-30
feet above the water level, interesting...............

Ed,

I have read your postings, well most of them, anyway. While I am not
looking for political alignment on the topic of GW (nor even GwB), it would
be nice to determine if GW is indeed occuring and if so, is it something to
be concerned with. Of course, this begs the question "Is there really
anything that I can do about it?" Several arguments concerning alternate
fuels (corn ethanol) have been made indicating that while they may reduce
dependence on foreign oil they do little for GW. In addition, several
discussions concerning electric vehicles, particularly the real cost of
battery manufacture, transportation and eventual disposal indicate that
their usage may not make good environmental sense.
