try 

0.002 + (-1) + 1 =  0.002 + (-1 +1) = 0.002 + 0 = 0.002

Which me thinks is still pretty close to zero. :-)

I bet the bank would keep that 2/10 of a cent rather than
give it to you as change.  I think 2/10ths of a penny is
worth more than that incopper these days.
