[Rhodes22-list] Mast Tabernacle Repair

Rummy,

I knoe that the screws are not what secures the mast to the boat. I poked in the holes left by the screws and it seemed to me that the wood was soft.

I'm at the wrong computer, but will forward the article to you directly in  
the morning.
This is not a difficult repair. The screws popped out as they are designed  
to do, rather than further damage more expensive and irreparable parts such as  
the mast.
