[Rhodes22-list] New trailer - galvanized

Ed,

What does a galvanized trailer cost?  Other than the material, are they any
different from the '81? Do they have brakes? If they are made by Triad, I
might be able to save the freight since they are located (or were) in CT.

As for the trip to Lake Champlain, it sure is a nice idea.  I looked at the
Lock 12 stuff and it may be interesting to visit, although sailing the canal
may not be too much fun.  BTW, the last time I was on the lake, we were
DRIVING from Plattsburgh to Burlington.  I wonder how thick the ice is this
year with the very, very warm winter in the northeast (65F predicted for
Saturday on LI!!)  LIS water temp is still in the high 40s!

      All this does help.  But where is your source?

       In your comments recently about getting a new trailer, spend the big
dollars and get a new galvanized triad trailer from Stan.  They are much
more substantial than the old trailers and then you can meet Dan on Lake
Champlain.  Maybe even sail together to Canada?  Cheap booze...  start
here...
