Bob:

Have you gotten Maine cabin fever? Good job.

However, just one small question. How do you square your position with U.S.
involvement in WWII regarding Germany?

You said in item 4, "We are NOT interested in INVADING your country or
DEPOSING your leaders." How was the U. S. to resolve WW II?

Captain Rummy:

(-1) + (-1) + (+1) just does not add up to 3. You said, " As citizens of
this country, paying taxes is a right, a privilege and a responsibility.
It's the price we pay for our way of life. " Paying taxes is not a right,
however paying fair taxes is. Paying taxes is not a privilege, it is an
obligation. Yes it is a responsiblity.

>From your arguement then the guy who invented NP-1 and gets substantial
royalties should pay a higher taxe rate than the roofing expert who solves
leaking roof problems using NP-1? Or should he just pay more because he got
more? The complaint about Bush's tax rate cut was that he should not only
pay more but at a higher rate.

Or put it this way, Bill E. should pay more taxes (because he earns more)
and at a higher rate the more books he sells at book promotions.
