Bill,
You will like this.  Palmetto Bay Marina, Chris or Byron, new ramp with dock immediately adjacent.  The trailer is parked at the marina.  No minimum size on the boat.  I go there whenever I can.  Beaches are accessible. The rates are quite reasonable, it is near a number of very nice sailing areas, and shore accomodations are available nearby.  Local biking, shopping, and gawking very plentiful.  a few very nice restaurants are at this resort marina, with nice restroom/shower facilities.  The docks are easy for maneuvering.  Chris and Byron know me, but cannot spell my name.  Tides can vary 7-9 feet, so you will probably want to be aware of the times for high tide.  You will like this place.
Tell your daughter that the dolphins many times will swim up to the boat, even at the dock, but she needs to be able to habla dolphin talk.
I am available to crew at HH, certainly to buy you a cup of java in Atlanta enroute.
