[Rhodes22-list] Katrina Update- Lack of Leadership

Bob,

Damned if you do, damned if you don't! The bottom line is that everyone who
lived on the coast, or below sea level, knew where they lived. I personally
think the government should leave a light footprint and get the "hell outa
Dodge". Contrary to the MSM and popular belief, the military had a huge and
immediate presence and did yeoman's work. FEMA is the acronym for Federal
Emergency Management Agency. The emergency is over. FEMA, GO HOME! I'm
glad my brother and I got involved in this mess, we've had a lot of fun and
have never been closer. We've also lost a lot of money but that is beside
the point. This is one huge mess and no amount of government help will
unscrew it! When the federal government pulls out of town and people take
responsibility for their own lives, or don't, this mess will get resolved
one way or the other. I don't remember reading in the constitution
where the founding fathers promised to wipe your ass every time you fart
crossways.

Brad
