Thanks Brad that's quite a list. I think I've read
3,4,6,12,15,17,23,26,27,30,35,42,45,47 and 66. I say think because in
a couple of cases I've read very good accounts of the adventure but
I'm not sure if I read the originals listed here or a later
retelling. Some of them were read a long time ago. I just finished an
anthology that included an excerpt from #54 by Clarence King. It was
very good reading.

I was surprised not see more sailing books on the list. Surely
Moitessier, the Smeetons and some of the other classic sailing
adventures are the equal of others on the list. Then again they were
only going to list 100.

Just finished Blue Highways and am now delving into PrairyErth. It's
good writing but denser. River Horse is next.
