Please email your old buddy Steve who is on some beach in Florida with a
request.  Have him email Wally with an explanation of "executive privilege”. 
Wally thinks that Cheney owns the privilege.  He does not grasp that
confidential communications to the executive branch belong to the President. 
It is for the President, i.e., Bush, to waive confidentiality and not
Cheney.

I would not ask a real estate attorney to explain confidentiality,
privileged communications or attorney client privilege to this crew.
