I'm Jack Chirch, yet another teacher/Rhodie--or at least aspiring Rhodie.  I
bought Pax (1981 R-22) in  Oct 2005 from its previous owner in Wisconsin,
and only got it wet once last year, before discovering some problems my
surveyor overlooked.  Pax is now water-tight, and I'm up to my ears in
hardware & fasteners. I've lurked for most of the past year, but Stan says I
have to come out of hiding. I'm looking forward to a great summer on
Chesapeake Bay, as well as erudite guidance in boat repair, political
science and love.
