[Rhodes22-list] Bruce's Rotten Bottom

Bruce,
I don't know if the cockpit table stand holes are threaded (if not you
could try to give it threads with a tap and dye).
If it is threaded, you could try to lightly screw in some bolts with
chains, and attach to a come-along. Next you
could try to gently lift up the base with the come-along, enough to get
some solvent underneath it.

I assume if I can't make any progress I can simply put some sort of schmutz into the bottom to seal it off from the foam (which has already taken a bit of a beating from a couple of years of neglect) and reseal the lip - as best I can - and move on. I really dont want to end up breaking apart the floor. Does that make sense?Bruce Greenwald----- Original Message -----From: Tootle Date: Sunday, May 13, 2007 10:10 pmSubject: [Rhodes22-list] Bruce's Rotten BottomTo: rhodes22-list at rhodes22.org> > Bruce:> > Before you proceed with the prying as recommended by Rummy, > Stan's people> like to use 5200 to glue things down.
