Bill,

15.4' might be correct or at least closer than 19'.  The winch is
probably about 6' from the aft end of the boat, and 22' minus 6' would
make the Genoa about 16'.

Just to be sure, I'll take an actual measurement on the next windless
day.

with the foot on a 175 Genoa would be about 15' 4" and a 155 would be

14'
  What I used was the  j  dimension ( that's the distance from the
headstay
chainplate  to the mast base  8.8) or 8.8 x 1.75 = 15.4
