[Rhodes22-list] Yamaha 9.9 ideas needed.

Brad,
The most common problem we had with our small engines at the track was
the needle and seat getting some little piece of crap stuck in it and
not being able to close all the way. This causes too much gas at low
speed, ie fat at idle.
In her description of the things she had done, she still doesn't say
that she removed and cleaned the float bowl and freed up/cleaned up the
needle and seat. Just draining it doesn't always make much difference.
I applaud her efforts so far. learning this stuff on a expensive piece
of equipment can be a little scary. But if she can't do this, she'd best
do as Ed says and take the motor off the boat and find herself a mechanic.
