[Rhodes22-list] motor flushing/ non political

I really wonder if it is all that necessary to flush the motor.  Maybe we 
have been lucky for nearly 30 years.  Maybe they don't make engines like 
they used to.  I use a mooring in the Nissequogue River and have no access 
to fresh water after motoring to mooring.  I just raise and tilt the old '79 
Suzuki DT7.5 2-cycle that is mostly aluminum and never seemed to have an 
issue with salt (LI Sound.)  It still starts on the first or second pull and 
runs like a champ (even on E-85 mixed with 2-cycle oil.)  Never quite but 
always dependable.

Maybe it is just running on memory like the rest of us ...
