Michael,

Books-on-tape. You're going to have a long commute to affordable housing
that has good school districts. With your Beverly Hills salary increase,
don't forget affordable private schools.

Knock-off Gucci suits. The key is to find a good tailor. Most important is
to keep your shoes looking new. Don't know why. I think women notice.

Knock-off Rolex. No one cares about the quality of a guy's wedding ring.
Designer glasses are cheap. If you want other jewelry, see Mr. T. fooh!

The only real advice I have is to be careful of cost-of-living comparisons.
They're very helpful but can also be very misleading. If you Google "cost
of living calculator" you'll get a bunch of them. The average house in a
suburb with reasonable housing costs may be a dump. Finding a good realtor
may be more important than location, location, location.

Best of luck!

Lee
