[Rhodes22-list] Politics: Blago

Bill,

Got sidetracked and didn't answer your last questions. Jarret got
pulled just in time to perhaps save her, maybe not. Jesse, Jr
(D-Budweiser) is toast for statewide office but he's in a lifetime
district if he can dodge this bullet. His dad is out of ammo, he's
done his last corporate shakedown deal over white guilt (but not
before the "Bud's a Dud" program got Jr. his beer distributorship).
The current speculation is that Ralph Emanuel is "Adviser A" in the
indictment. That's just speculation but if true, this movie could be
over before the first bag of popcorn is eaten. But even if it isn't
true, someone from DC talked to Blago for over two hours (today's
WSJ), if not Emanuel, then who? As to Durbin, I don't have an answer
to that one. He's such an idiot, just leave him in the Senate to make
an ass out of himself. Maybe he'll be like Trent Lott and resign
before the spotlight finds him.

Where's Woodward and Bernstein in all this? No wonder the MSM media
is financially bankrupt. You can't help but empathize with young Barry
- he picked a bad week to quit smoking.
