[Rhodes22-list] Deregulation and Da List

Sorry Ben, but while your information may be correct, I believe your
conclusion is wrong. No one can "dominate" the list. This is not like a
conversation where only one person at a time can talk. If a person has
something to say, they can say no matter who else is "talking". The
complaints I've heard most loudly are that the messages have become
caustic (or toxic, or whatever other pejorative term one may want to
use). I have a suggestion for folks, it's a pretty old one. Treat others
the way you want to be treated. Call me a hick, racist, fool, or
whatever (in whatever couched terms or overt accusations you choose),
and I think you'll see me react. Call my beliefs, whether they my
religious beliefs, political beliefs, or just view of life in genera -
ignorant, stupid, racist, unconsidered, - again, whatever pejorative
term you decide to use, and you may find me reacting.

And, for those of you that believe you're somehow above it all because
you hide your insults carefully, sorry, it doesn't fly. An insult is an
insult, no matter how nicely one says it. Some of you that do it the
"cutest" are the worst, because you're doing it deliberately.

OK, rant off.
