[Rhodes22-list] Deregulation and Da List

Michael,

As you well know, I run another list just like this one, but 3 times the
size. Everyone sticks to the topic, and it's so boring I put myself on
vacation mode 6 months ago, so now all the questions are being answered
wrong by hustlers with vested interests.

I can run this list, too--just the way Stan wants it.

Rummy went on vacation and unexpectedly drove home to an email box full
of clearly labeled Political discussion. If he didn't want to read it,
he could have easily deleted it. NOBODY asked a single R-22 question
that was not answered. In fact, I don't think anybody asked a single
question, or made a single comment about sailing the whole time Rummy
was in Wisconsin.

I didn't drive anyone away -- there was nobody there! In fact, it took
this squabble to discover just how many people are apparently still
reading the list every day, but never taking the time to ask questions
or contribute answers.

I write about Obama and the Economy because I am terribly upset about
both. The people on this list are my friends, and have been my friends
for more than 10 years. I have contributed 1000s of sailing related
answers that can still be found on the Web, and I always contribute when
asked questions are not answered by others.

I am truly sorry that you lost your job, and I really do feel your pain,
but I think it's time you stop taking out your problems on me. If you
need help moving this list over to another server, I will help you. If
you and John want to get out of the R-22 list business, I am willing to
get in, if that's what Stan wants.
