[Rhodes22-list] plunge - reward - Brooklyn? - Alice (PoliticalComment - Al do not read)

Oh, what the hell, it's too cold to go to the hangar, may as solve the
world's problems.

Stan, I do know WFB's opinion on exporting wars. He was one of the first
from the Conservative movement to pull support for Iraq. He's only human
and history will prove him wrong on the issue. We hope!

Philip, it's past time we declared victory on the war on drugs and moved
on. I say we won the war on poverty as well - time to move on.

Rummy, "right winger" is a pretty broad term. I can only speak from my
perspective of what it means to be a Conservative as I interpret it - don't
change things that are working without good cause and quit doing things that
have proven not to work, socialistic models come to mind.

It is not easy being a Conservative these days. Just last night we saw a
political victory by a R brand populist and a D brand populist. History
should tell us that populism works about as well as socialism and communism
but that assumes citizens know their history. They don't. Let's reinvent
the wheel, shall we?
